How To Become A Member

Individuals as well as families are always welcome to become part of our growing church community.  The procedure for joining is notification of the Pastor or one of the Elders who will call a special meeting of Session to receive you into membership.  This is usually done either prior to or immediately following a service of worship.

Persons join in one of three ways:

è                     Transfer of Membership from another church which holds your letter of active membership.

è                     A Reaffirmation of Faith when your membership is held by a denomination which ordinarily does not transfer one’s membership or when, due to various circumstances, your active membership is no longer recognized by a church.

è                     A Profession of Faith in which you publicly confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and promise to support the church.
