At First Presbyterian we believe in having fun together and sharing meals is an important part of our spiritual and congregational life.  It is not by coincidence that we attempt to have one major fellowship activity almost every month!

In addition we have groups and organizations which meet regularly, but always check the church newsletter for dates, times and details:

 

Fifties Plus gathers every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and fellowship at various area restaurants.

 

Yada Yada Book Club meets on the 2nd Thurs. of most months at 7pm to fellowship, eat and discuss a book.  Twice a year this group meets and books are chosen for the group to read each month.  Meetings are held at various restaurants.  Check the Newsletter for locations!

 

Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian are actively involved in study, fellowship, and mission both on the local and regional level.  Meeting of the Women’s Circle is the first Monday morning of each month at 10:00 a.m.  The contact for the Women’s Circle is Mary Shelton (281) 494-2756. At Women’s Circle and General Meetings, they share and grow in their faith and commitment.  Many of our members regularly attend the annual Women’s Conference at Mo-Ranch. 

 

Presbyterian Men meet the 2nd Saturday of each month for a prayer breakfast at 7:30 a.m.  This is a time of fellowship, study, and prayer and is often followed by work on special projects around the church.  Many of our Presbyterian Men participate in the annual Men’s Conference held in May at Mo-Ranch.  For more information contact the Church Office.
